International MAMA “Mother Nature” Project
The United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland
May 7 – May 27, 2026
I am deeply honored to have my painting “I Can Fly” selected as part of the internationally acclaimed MAMA “Mother Nature” project, presented at one of the world’s most prestigious diplomatic institutions — the Palais des Nations, home of the United Nations Office at Geneva, within the monumental Salle des Pas Perdus, one of its most remarkable architectural spaces.
The exceptional significance of this representation includes:
The Highest Possible International Platform: By bringing together international artistic voices at the heart of the United Nations in Geneva, MAMA “Mother Nature” creates a unique platform where art, diplomacy, and ecological consciousness converge. To have my work exhibited within these walls is a distinction of extraordinary magnitude.
A Globally Traveling Cultural Force: The project was first introduced at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku in 2024, as part of the COP29 climate conference, and has since evolved into a traveling international platform presented in major cultural capitals including Manama, Rome, London, Tbilisi, Berlin, and Tirana. Across these editions, more than fifty artists from twenty-eight countries have contributed to a global artistic dialogue on the future of the planet.
Distinguished Leadership and Institutional Collaboration: The exhibition was presented in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office at Geneva , and co-initiated by Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, and Leyla Aliyeva, Head of IDEA Public Union and Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Being part of a project championed by such figures — at the intersection of global diplomacy and culture — is a testament to the caliber and reach of this initiative.
A Convergence of Art and Global Diplomacy: The opening ceremony was attended by Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva, officials of the UN Geneva office and other international organizations. My work was exhibited in the company of global leaders and decision-makers shaping the future of our planet.
Exclusive International Representation: As the sole representative from Serbia across this edition of the project, this participation is a mark of international recognition — both of my artistic voice and of my commitment to the global environmental dialogue.
A Mission That Transcends Art: The exhibition brings together artists from diverse backgrounds to explore the relationship between humanity and nature, as well as the urgency of renewed ecological awareness. My painting “I Can Fly” contributes to this vital conversation at the very institution built to foster global peace and cooperation.
This participation stands as one of the most significant milestones of my artistic career — a recognition that places my work permanently within the history of a landmark international project, exhibited at the United Nations, the most universal symbol of global solidarity and human aspiration.
