Participation in the International MAMA “Mother Nature” Project COP29 Climate Conference
I am honored to have been selected as a participant in the internationally acclaimed MAMA “Mother Nature” project, launched by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, during the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). My artwork “I Can Fly” was featured as part of this groundbreaking exhibition held at the architecturally stunning Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid.
The exceptional significance of this representation includes:
- Prestigious International Platform: The project is organized by IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union and the Heydar Aliyev Center, positioning participating artists within one of the world’s most influential cultural and environmental initiatives.
- Global Climate Leadership Forum: Being featured during COP29 places my work at the epicenter of international climate discourse, where world leaders, policymakers, and environmental advocates convene to address the most pressing global challenges of our time.
- Architectural Masterpiece Venue: The Heydar Aliyev Center, a UNESCO-recognised architectural marvel designed by Pritzker Prize winner Zaha Hadid, serves as one of the world’s premier cultural institutions, elevating the artistic significance of all exhibited works.
- Distinguished Leadership: The project’s foundation and leadership by Leyla Aliyeva, a prominent figure in international cultural and environmental advocacy, underscores the project’s global importance and reach.
- Exclusive International Representation: As the sole representative from Serbia, this participation highlights the international recognition of my artistic contribution to the global environmental dialogue.
- Spiritual and Cultural Dialogue: The opportunity to engage with Sadhguru during the opening ceremony added profound spiritual and philosophical dimensions to my artistic experience, enriching the project’s cultural significance.
This participation represents not only artistic achievement but also a meaningful contribution to the global conversation on climate change through the universal language of art, under the auspices of one of the world’s most influential cultural foundations.
